Movie Quote Of The Day
This man is black. We can all see that. But, can we also see as easily, that which is equally true? That he is the only true hero in this room. Now, if he were white, he wouldn't be standing before this court fighting for his life. If he were white and his enslavers were British, he wouldn't be standing, so heavy the weight of the medals and honors we would bestow upon him. Songs would be written about him. The great authors of our times would fill books about him. His story would be told and retold, in our classrooms. Our children, because we would make sure of it, would know his name as well as they know Patrick Henry's. Yet, if the South is right, what are we to do with that embarrassing, annoying document, The Declaration of Independence? What of its conceits? "All men created equal," "inalienable rights," "life, liberty," and so on and so forth? What on Earth are we to do with this?
Which movie?

"Who is mandingo?", he said, whistling innocently, and definitely not asking Google...

This is my favourite quote from that one:

Applicant: Rape, murder, arson, and rape.
Hedley Lamarr: You said rape twice.
Applicant: I like rape.

"If you know a great blog post, stackoverflow thread or any other link that would be useful, send me an email with the link. The links provided here are updated approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. You can find older (but in many cases still relevant) ASP.NET MVC links on the MSDN content map.
A good place to get your questions answered or to find solutions to problems is in the ASP.NET MVC forum or on stackoverflow."
From here http://www.asp.net/mvc/overview/getting-started/aspnet-mvc-content-map[^], a Microsoft run website with a Q&A forum. A Microsoft site recommending that you do not bother going to their forums but rather go over to stackoverflow, atleast they are being honest.

Still they haven't got hang of it. No mention of CP articles, which probably is the biggest and arguably the best collection.

They used to have a link to one of my article & they've removed it, my one achievement in IT gone. :sobs gently:

That's not fair. CP articles makes it way too hard to ask for "code plz" because you have to scroll ALL THE WAY past that useless wall of text. That's just ridiculous.
What is this talk of release? I do not release software. My software escapes leaving a bloody trail of designers and quality assurance people in its wake.

IMHO it's shame on them not to be able to organize a community for there own technology...

They do have MSDN, but there are more people on other community sites like SO. I don't see anything shameful about it.

I have a Microsoft Gold Partner access to resources as MSDN.
It's not a developer community.
It's also very poor when you reach higher level of development, and your need goes beyond the basic things...

Is this like water-boarding?

If you've ever been through on-boarding at a large company, you'd pick water-boarding over it.
|
|
|

Yes, or even "haul over and prepare to be boarded".
I think it's more of a verbified adjective though.
