You can walk across the old bridge (it has a foot path and a cycle way), but you can't the new bridge - it has no facilities, and is a motorway anyway, where walking (or cycling) is forbidden by law (for your comfort and safety)

Its only a bridge across a river, a big river, that you pay to use. You can enter Wales by one of many hundreds of other routes and not pay, so its a silly post.

they thought of that on the QE2 bridge (and the new seven bridge I have been informed), they charge you when you get to the other side, on the Seven bridge they assume it's you own fault for wanting to go to wales in the first place

Getting a comment like that from Luc is like getting a "well done!" and a pay rise out of the blue from your boss! You start to think it's a good article.
But...he won't come back - he really did dislike QA and the reduction in importance of the forums that resulted. Massive loss to the site when he made that decision - he was one of the most knowledgable people here...
