Probably you will have seen my last post about a dying hdd...

I've managed to recover all the information in a HDD that was having strange behavior:

When I tried to access it the computer become hang for several seconds, sometimes I was able to continue working with the HDD and sometimes the HDD disappeared from "My Computer".

Now that I've got the replacement HDD and I've passed all the information to the new one, the old one is working as expected... I've checked it using chkdsk and no errors have been found, now I'm formatting it using NTFS (slow) and everything seems to go fine...

Is there any way to diagnose it properly?

Now it looks it works... Unsure | :~
