Always wanted this question answering in the UK.
We use the national speedway sign on a road because the speed is different for different types of vehicle. So for example. Dual Carriage way is 70MPH for a car...60 MPH for a transit VAN.
So I am in a Car... and get camera'd at 69...But a transit VAN is doing 59...We are both technically speeding by as much. (In fact the VAN as a percentage is worse). But he doesn't get a ticket.
Does this mean that as a Car driver I am being personally targeted...Isn't this unfair discrimination.
Also just to make this really complicated some MPVs actually have a transit chassis, and as such should be doing 60 in this zone.
I would love this argument to be brought up in court one day. You can imagine the police officer looking a bit dumbfounded

...trying to sort out why a list was in the wrong order.
The data comes from a DataGridView, and it's SelectedRows property, and I use Linq methods to process this (eventually) into a comma separated string (ready for a columns list in an SQL statement).
And no matter what I did, it was always backwards: last selected column name first. Now, I know that SelectedRows is returned in "last first" order, that's what I want. So I use Reverse..and nothing changes.
Pull hair, puzzle, change, run, check MSDN, run, puzzle, repeat...realize that's the wrong damn method, that one gets the table names...

Hi All,
I know there are several Cyclist regulars here so you maybe able to answer the question, on my walk to (& from) work I usually walk past a cycle path in which none of the cyclists use. It is on the side of a (at times busy) road. Having walked up & down this road both day & night I can say for certain that cyclists use the foot path not the cycle lane. Also in town/shopping areas a lot of the locals ride in pedestrian areas and view pedestrians as either viable targets to run down or an inconvenience (tends to be hip youngsters). The worst however are the "I'm riding to save the earth type" you point out to them that the bike they are riding is made from very polluting alloys, the fact that the lycra outfit is made form oil... the best thing they could do is walk get greeted by the "I haven't got time", just thinking... (all right I flatten by a cyclist this morning and letting the venom out  )

I do use the cycle lane if available (and in a decent state). If the cycle lane is not available or practicable, I just ride on the road. I never ride in the foot path.
As runner, however, I often invade the cycle path.
