On my last job I used to work with a few people that were very helpful in such cases. Mainly project managers - you just need a quick chat with them and that made your blood pressure so high you weren't sleepy anymore

You're options are:
1) Just sleep
2) Get a Red Bull (other energy drinks are available)
3) Don't brood, type a little faster... (Asimov style)
4) Just go home/for a walk/anything that's more fun

Go for a walk and get some fresh out outside the building cuz the atmosphere in those fish-tank office buildings is poisonous from lack of ventilation.

I have a number of options open to me;
1) Open the biscuit drawer. remove biscuits. munch.
2) Drawer empty - phone chief steward ask for more to be sent down to my office, wait then munch.
3) Open fridge, extract chocolate and cans of juice. munch.
4) Fridge empty - phone chief steward ask for fridge to be filled, wait then much.
