So this image[^] appears a little strange. It's purported to be from the purported beheading of a US Journalist by ISIS.
Is it just me or does the head appear to be shifted a little to our left, as if it were photoshopped?

Maybe. Or not. Hard to tell. Even from the pixels and from seeing a few shops back in my day.
If you feel like putting way too much effort into this, take a look at the chromatic aberration and the demosaicing artifacts.

I'd say it's just poor image quality. And the angle is off and the pic isn't proportionate also. Not to mention, judging by the body language, I'd wager he already accepted his fate and subconsciously dropped his left shoulder a bit to expose his neck more.
He should've punched the knife guy in the nuts at least and go down fighting! But I'll save that for a different SB type post.
