Griff, you're letting your Grinch-like façade slip. Careful!

Alas, perhaps you only remember the Grinch at the beginning of the story and not at the end?

Ah, but Christmas is not actually here yet!
... and we all know that OG is not really a Grinch anyway, he was just having a quite understandable reaction to cats and Christmas trees, which are often a bad combination.
Clearly his sangfroid is returning. Maybe the cat left?

The event happened in the past.

Well, yes, but it's a bit like Groundhog Day, except there's a year between the repeats:
Griff puts up the tree, fixing it to the stairs with nails, wire, scaffolding, girders, epoxy and duct tape. After which the cat jumps through the tree, scares Griff and then proceeds to try to destroy the tree.
After which Griff has a quiet little rant on CP about how he hates Christmas.

Mostly Bob Rivers.
I finally got around to ripping a couple dozen seasonal CDs last week and added them to what I have on my phone.

There's a fine line between crazy and free spirited and it's usually a prescription.
I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too but the possibilities are endless.

I can recommend a few for other aging hippies like myself:
An Evening of Carols and Capers by Maddy Prior and The Carnival Band has a lovely folky, almost medieval sound.
A Midnight Clear by Gordon Giltrap. Giltrap is a truly magnificent guitarist and this album has some great Christmas instrumentals.
Any album by The Albion Christmas Band (lead by Ashley Hutchings, the founder of both Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span). I have An Albion Christmas, which has a nice mix of music and readings by Mr Hutchings.
I have lots of others, but these 3 are among my favourite Christmas listens and are maybe a little more obscure.
Enjoy!

A programming language with Radium without article for Nitrogen in a foe and Chlorine added to a male offspring to save from the flood not in order? (6, 8)
Bonus one for the weekend:
The first two of the German goblin at a water body with a burnt residue, Roman one and Japanese ship ending for a fictional test? (9, 4)
Not too difficult I think. Good luck!

Chlorine - Cl
save from the flood - ark
male offspring - son

Well, that's correct but what's with the "Jeremy" part?
Anyway, you are up for Monday..

Then tomorrow perhaps?
I know very few members visit the site during the weekends, but I certainly do.

Movie Quote Of The Day
They strike, wrap around you. Hold you tighter than your true love. And you get the privilege, of hearing your bones break before the power of embrace causes your veins to explode.
Which movie?
