Look at this great job![^] And how do you like the new design, getting rid of that old 1977 look?
I'm away now. I'm going to put on the oldfashioned armor, load Star Wars Battlefront and shoot a few rebels
Edit: A victory for the Empire!
We took Tatooine, I got 26 rebels and they did not once get me. Only once it got a little hot when I came out of a building and had half of the Rebel Alliance coming towards me. Nothing a thermal detonator can't solve.
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.
"I don't know, extraterrestrial?"
"You mean like from space?"
"No, from Canada."

And how many nerds do you know who stand around admiring each other's helmets?

Quite a few. They even hold conventions to dress up and... admire each other.

Well, day 2 at work today. been good so far, most amusing thing was getting my company car today and the first experience of driving across Doha!
Oh how we chuckled, while pulling a few dodgy moves just to fit in with the locals! Only had to use my horn once, and that was to try and get out of the work car park! Helps if I use the correct barrier exit
Anyway, pics of the 'bus' and some more blurb can be had here http://qatar-is-calling.blogspot.com/2015/03/day-2-car-drive-homethe-blood-lost.html[^].
Everyone else fine?

You get used to them (the bus, that is) - I had a turbo diesel 2800 version of the Shogun for a lot of years, and they are really rather good. Except at going fast, they are rubbish at that.
But...I could chuck a ton of coal, or a chest freezer in the back and it didn't even notice.
Yes, they are big and bulky (about the size and shape of a supermarket parking place, which has to be considered when parking - you need space in the bay beside you to open the door) but they will go anywhere, and in pretty good comfort. Bouncy comfort, but comfort!

My father is also there right now. He just sent me a pic of him riding a camel, and an other pic of some fake ancient temple thing. Of course, no one cares about any of this, but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

I'm curious, did the company give you an orientation on Sharia law and how it applies to you and your family?

You get a loan shark where the interest compounds in 15 minute intervals.
