The supreme court is a joke. It's yet another expression of political agendas rather than actual intelligent thought.

You demonstrate my point very eloquently.

since the last update installation it doesnt boot smooth anymore, but nerving with it shiny new blue screen with the known errors as IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL, some ARC_SYSTEM ??? and other stuff.
I got to reset the BIOS and boot 3 times and the PC freezes.
Such sh*t I havent experienced since Vista Previews.
Addition: I got the next BSOD with fvevol.sys
PS: I run the PC three month with Windows 8 error free, and two month with Windows 10 (no new hardware)
Press F1 for help or google it.

Try removing non-essential drivers and see if the situation improves.

What are you guys installing/running that makes Windows 10 unusable? I don't really have many problems with it.
I'm not installing it because I read all this stuff in the lounge
Well, it works on my machine

That's a baaaaaad sign!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...
I'm pretty sure it was de-signed to do that

Sounds like your machine is broken

Resistance is futile! You will be assimilated. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life!
I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

The Microsoft Borg may not let you into the Win 10 Cube for free at a later date. Win 10 is free now - but for how long?
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!

I'm assuming that if I don't have to upgrade now I certainly won't have to once they start charging.
Perhaps they'll even remove the optional update

Windows 10 will be free until they get enough people to work the (major)bugs out, Then move on to Windows 11.

I installed because this box had 8 on it, it's an improvment!

In that case I guess it's a valid choice

I am WITH YOU on that. I am still HAPPILY on Windows 7 Pro.
No reason to move. And EVERY Time I have to use Windows 10, I still cringe!
Although, Right Click on the start menu. ALMOST Useable Again!

You shouldn't have any problems with it.

So I'm guessing you didn't install it

So far, I've only installed it in a Virtual Box VM, so I can play with this[^] poorly documented (but what a nice website!) app.

Yep! After my initial resistance I have come to like Windows 10.
FYI I have a clean install on an SSD with quad core i5 and 4GB ram on a Gigabyte board. So far it has been rock solid. There are one or two items that I used with Win 7 previously that don't work on Win10 but I managed to get round that easily.
I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.
