So, John Cleese is in Stockholm with his "The last time to see me before I die" show, and the missus and I went to his funeral feast yesterday.
Actually, I didn't really know what he was going to do and what to expect, so I was a bit septic (even though I like Cleese) and not at all sure it would be funny - But he really put all of my doubts to shame!
He really is a great comedian (in all senses of the word, because he seems to have put on a few pounds). He told a lot of anecdotes, talked about his life (and death), Fawlty Towers, Monty Python and a lot more. It was terribly funny! He even talked a little more seriously about humour, taboos and the art of crossing boundaries (a field in which Monty Python were pioneers and excelled of course!)
One of the things he talked about (and showed on a big screen) - and that I had never heard about before - was an interview The Pythons did in Aspen, Colorado in 1998. As you know, Graham Chapman died in 1989, and The Python gang had brough a cardboard cutout of him to the show so that it should feel like he was still a part of the team. They had also brought HIS ASHES IN AN URN!

I'm not sure, but I actually don't think that Robert Klein was in on the joke, because it doesn't look like he knows what to do with himself, and he looks distinctively pissed afterwards!

All processed meat (not just bacon) has been linked (repeatedly) as a cause of cancer. And it's not just processed meats, but processed food in general. The best advice is to consume such foods in moderation. Eating them regularly will not do your health any good.
