When in doubt, just add another MS service/server that uses sql server and requires 8gb ram and licensing...
I had a bad experience with WSUS.

That "MS service/server" predates the Windows 10 (re-)implementation by a decade and, as I wrote, works.
Not sure where you're getting your 8GB of RAM figure either, I have it running in a VM with 1.5GB.
As for licensing - if you already have the server OS, the service is already built-in and won't cost you a dime more to use. My MSDN subscription provides me with all the server licenses I need. If you were talking about SQL Server licensing - if you install it on a machine with no database at all, it'll use the bare-bones Windows Internal Database.
Was your bad experience with WSUS back in 2003?

While most of you buggerers are enjoying a quite Sunday kicking goats, my daughters started their new school today.
I was greeted with a "Hello, please pay us" and the girls abducted until 4.

So the bad news is you gotta pay, but the good news is a quiet day for the two of you? Sounds like a bargain to me!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

And if you don't pay, they're returned immediately. I see your problem...
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

I already had 2 quiet days last week...
(What school it is? If I remember there are no English schools outside of Budapest, but you were heading to the Balaton...)

«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors.
