I'd love it, especially since it really calls for the introduction of psions or, better yet, warlocks (as per 3.5 edition and not 5th).
Without them I don't know, I like it but it's too hostile to spellcasters. Maybe I could play my Human Monk there...

Cool! My monk is more a Kenshiro type without much moral guidance (Legal Neutral) and as the campaign progressed he developed quite a bit of PTSD.
My ispiration for its core were a mix from Kenshiro and Zell Dincht (Final Fantasy VIII), the rest came naturally. The PTSD wasn't planned at all, it just developed until I recognized it as such. Too bad the party split irredeemably.
