Was doing my normal surfing and noticed that things were getting REAL slow, my memory widget showed memory maxed so brought up task manager and Firefox was gobbling 14GB of my 16GB memory. WTF?
I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too!

Well, browsers like to compete over who's the fastest. So I guess it's natural for them to sacrifice memory in favour of performance.

Try switching to Chrome. I'm sure you'll be able to eat up the whole 16GB in half the time.

Hi All,
We use Chrome as a company, standards, mutter, mutter. However I caught a key combination that lets you alter the view of a tab to see the whole page scaled for your monitor, I can't despite googling get an answer the best they come up with is the magnifier option this just blows up the image so all distortion is visible...anybody any ideas??

I am not sure what you are trying to explain, but do you have dev tools open? If not, press F12.
There is an icon on top bar to left of "Elements", looks like a monitor and phone I guess. Have you somehow switched that on? Click it to see if fixes, no idea what the shortcut if for it though.
