I wish someone would come up with a universal rf connector for mobile phone/gps etc connections.
The number of connector types is astounding. Drives me nuts.

USB C, well just run on down to the shops and buy a Mac.
but seriously the department stores that sell PC's and iplods usually sell various adapter cables, seeing as the iplod has USB C they would probably have charging cables ... these days even some $1 shops have them.

I have a converter. Swim across to Netherlands and take it.
Or, if you have a power bank, they generally give the converters too. Plug in power bank (USB 2.0?) to computer, connect it to device. Done.

I like it here. People are good, the city is nice and there are plenty of places for my son to have fun. We don't know anyone around so sometimes it gets boring. Still amazed by your fascination with calendars and plans. Got an invite in July for a barbecue in September.

I once created a list of all the film formats I had been using in the days of silver photography (/home movies).
A list of all the home video tape formats that I have got in my basement.
A list of all the digital storage media formats (starting with 8 channel paper tape!)
A list of hard disk interface standards that I have been using over the years.
A list of computer peripheral interface standards (screen, keyboard, mouse, MIDI, ...)
A list of document file formats in which I have produced my own documents.
A list of network communication protocols I have used for transferring data betwen computers
Some of these have major and minor entries, such as document file formats that are technically different, but handled by the same application (such as .doc/.docx). Some have a common core, but e.g. SCSI was used with 14 different plugs (when I had to buy an adapter for my eight of those, I decided to never more buying any SCSI equipment).
Most of the lists ended up at least two to three times as long as I would ever have dreamt of. When I then think of all the standards that I have skipped, and stuck to the old established one for a few more years (but friends and colleagues couldn't understand why I was so stubborn), it gives me a feeling of "standard" being another name for "fad".
