Anagram of "than Peel", and is apparently a paper size[^]. Never heard of it before, but the anagram was obvious enough to get the solution.
So is everyone looking forward to a week of "paper size" solutions?! As surely that is the only possible theme here

The old one just isn't up to the task anymore.
I need a new 10" tablet but there's a ton of them out there and I need some help to filter out the dross. (stupid construction, bloatware, or whatever happens to trigger you)
So please tell me, not what to get. But rather what not to get. And Why.

It depends on your needs, if you need a good screen don't buy a cheap tablet.
Also what OS do you want, if it's IOS the choice is simple

Avoid the Chinese ones: they are fine to start with, but long term reliability (i.e. once the guarantee period expires) is poor. Every Chinese electronic device I've owned is dead, and while "disposable commodity" is good for manufacturers, I'm old enough to want stuff to last a while...
I have to say I'm impressed with Surface - to the point Herself is getting one for Christmas to replace her Samsung Galaxy Tab S, and that's still working perfectly ...

The "Western designed, Chinese built" ones are generally OK - all iPhones are made in China - it's the ones designed and built by Chinese companies that you need to watch for, in my experience.
