Yeah, I've been doing it for around 12 years now. It's nice until your business partner shows up every other day 'cause your office is better than theirs and 'we need to work together' which translates to 'stop what you are doing and help me'. Laugh | :laugh:

Not much of a dream after five months anymore...
No one to share idea's with or to learn from.
I live alone, I work alone, I eat alone, I sleep alone.
I'm an introvert if ever there was one, so some weeks I'd only see my parents because I eat there every Friday night.
That's A LOT of loneliness even for me Laugh | :laugh:

Besides, I'm always at home or always at work.
It makes coming into a working vibe quite difficult.

A change of scenery and some people may be a nice break.
And it's a bit of networking as well.
Who knows what'll come from that Wink | ;)

It sounds to me like you are experiencing the effects of social isolation mixed with boredom/loneliness from repeating the same behaviors in the same environments. While I hope your new work venue meets some of your needs, I can't help but wonder if you are reaching a place in life where you need to find/try some activities/pastimes outside technical/mental work.

It is never too late to develop new social skills ... once you stop repeating to yourself: "I am an introvert" Smile | :)

It's not just that, but I'm struggling a bit to get in a working mood while at home.
And sitting at home all week isn't good for my weight either Laugh | :laugh:

I do have some social activities, just not daily... Sniff | :^)

I've got plenty of friends too, but I don't see them daily or even weekly, they've all got other stuff to do or live an hour+ away.
It runs in the family, I'm not energetic and not social.
Since being social takes up a lot of energy that I don't have it's not something I particularly enjoy.
Being around people and in a different environment for a few days a week should be a welcome change though Smile | :)
