Well - they'll sell because managers don't keep in mind the time that will be spent by employees cleaning up a mess of great messiness when they slide off onto the floor at the wrong moment.
For some us, who have learned to perch on the seat . . . sneakers or barefoot ought to counteract the plight.

It depresses me that not only was someone stupid enough to think this would work, but that other people were stupid enough to say "yeah, that sounds like a great idea".
Of course, the inventor probably isn't that stupid if he profits from it, but it also depresses me that people are happy to exploit others for personal gain.
Either way you look at it, it's a crappy world we live in.
Oh, and if people just want to slack off in the toilet I am sure they can just as easily play on their phones while standing up next to the toilet... what's next, lower the ceilings in bathrooms?

I've been continuously asked by a tester friend - how AI/ML can be used on testing. What are the tools available etc. What he has to learn etc. "Automated" test tools are already there is it not good enough? May be there's something really more useful coming up. Could be. but I can't stand this hype created by the zombie managers.
His manager has said AI/ML will take over the world and every corner of the organization will be AI/ML centric. So the test team has to be AI/ML ready. 
I think soon they will look for Office stationaries & furniture that are AI/ML-based.
I'm just waiting for this buzz to die off and people start talking about something else, atleast.

Unless there is a show-stopper of a catastrophic nature we are now seeing just the tip of the iceberg.
My hope is the so-called "futurists" stop talking about all of the great things AI could do for us so it is allowed to develop at a reasonable and prudent pace. My fear is AI becomes embraced far too quickly and it comes back to bite.
