I got a membrane, backlit Redragon gaming keyboard K512RGB. It is a comfortable keyboard, but I would like to better understand the backlight. It progresses across the keyboard with all the colors of the rainbow. It is pretty but doesn't appear to have a function beyond that. It didn't come with a manual. I liked it well enough that I got another for a machine in my lab.

Ditto; it came with software that can make the lights progress in different patterns, colors and speed, and there's an API, but haven't seen any software that actually makes use of it.

Sadly, I would have to decompile the software to make it work on my several Linux workstations, and I have been too lazy to do that (so far).

I have an old Dell keyboard that came with one of their machines. I actually had 2 of them but I too dropped a cup of coffee into it and went to the backup.
I wish it was wireless.
I use a Logitech K520 on my other machine. It is wireless.

I like the rectangular ones, because it is predictable for my fingers where the keys will be. It's not like someone pulling your finger-nails. It's not even as annoying as wearing a bra in summer.

Typing is typing muscle memory corrects for all the how hard is the key to push down and the noise keeps me awake HA HA BackLit would be nice but my biggest feature that is a deal maker is the little cushion pad at the bottom of the keyboard MINE IS a Kensington Pro Fit Wireless Comfort Desktop Set
The word SET means I get a wireless Mouse with more buttons than I know what to do with box says it is Spill Proof (I am not testing it is a 3.5 hour drive to buy a new one) I suffer from IWSWIB syndrome

CM Storm QuickFire Rapid 10 keyless with brown keys to keep it fairly quiet. I've got 4 of them for some of the computers around the house. No RGB lighting for me!

Aight, good point; I'm on "push to talk", with the button to activate it on the mouse for that reason. That and the humming, singing and whining

One thing you should keep in mind is that the Avant Prime and Stellar are PC keyboards that use a PS/2 connection.
That IS stellar; especially if the most important feature is just a PS/2 connection.

For me a keyboard must have an LED on the Caps Lock key. Using a Logitech K520r.

Long story short:
- August 2016 - Purchase Lumia 640
- August 2018 - Purchase replacement battery as the original spontaneously got swollen
- Today - Woke up to a swollen battery again
If I'm doing it wrong, I'd love to know what it is.
When the phone isn't in my pockets, it's sitting in a dock (and recharging) - that's what happened last time...but right now - it was fine last evening, it spent the night in my pockets and I found it in this state just a few minutes ago.
I'm more than willing to give the phone manufacturer a pass, just like no car manufacturer makes its own batteries...but I'm still less than impressed.
Honestly, do I have unrealistic expectations?
