It is about 7:30AM here and I have only been at work for an hour.
Saw one of the mailroom staff carrying a USPS tote and thought of the movie Postman[^], so I said we'll call you Kevin.
It would have been funnier, however, if his name was not Kevin. 
I need to go home and start over.

I am a Brit living in the US... no, no, I have already had all the sympathy I can handle, thanks... One thing that stands out for me is the average mercan's predilection for starting work in the middle of the night (AKA 0630, or as they call it here "6:30 AM"). I start at the more civilised time of 9-ish and work a little later in the evening as all sensible people should.

If so, it's still there.
Look at the list on the left of this screen, and click on the "General Programming" item.
The "General Discussions" group will close, and the programming forums list will open. It's still in there!

What you should know (shhhhh) is that there are no real c++ questions, it's just CPallini, Madson and MacCutchan posting undercover questions and then answering each-other's.
I should say that they are doing a fine job though.
