Sorry, this is just a forum, and I just assist with giving you some help and direction and not coding your project. There are a lot of DHTML/Javascript sites available that provide code that may apply to your requirements. However, this may require some learning and coding on your part.

You cannot use & or & in an element name. An element name has to begin with a letter or an underscore.

This is the error message "An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 1, position 160."
This is the code upon insertion:
elmXML = docXMLFile.CreateElement(element);
elmXML.InnerXml = strNewLine.ToString();
docXMLFile.DocumentElement.AppendChild(elmXML)
the error occurs on the second line.

i think it's due to the & sign in your string.
|
|
|
|
|
yes, i guess so too.. if it has the single "\", it won't accept the string? so how will i go about it?
|
|
|
|
|
u have to replace & with sth. that is allowed in plain html
i think u should replace & with &

Now i want to add an button which will redirect to next aspx page can any one help me how to write button click events in xslt.

A button click event is just an attribute, although I'm not sure how you can create a dynamic aspx file, if I read you correctly.

Its simple.. Add a attribute tag to your button and do this...
Eg:
<xsl:attribute name="onclick">
<xsl:variable name="url">
<xsl:text>document.location='
<xsl:value-of select="'YourPagename.aspx'">
<xsl:text>'
<xsl:value-of select="$url">
Hope this works..
Thanks & Regards,

Hi all,
How to allow the boolean value 'True' or 'TRUE' in a XML file.
Generally when we specify the restriction in xsd as
<xs:extension base="xs:boolean">
When this is specified in xsd, it allows only 'true' 'false' or 0 or 1.
How does this allow 'True' or 'TRUE' in XML.
Please Help..
Thanks.

Cannot see the xsd snippet.
Either turn all < into &am;lt; or check the "Ignore HTML tags in this message" beneath the smilies.

You can define your own type that allows either a standard boolean or some specific string value.
<xs:simpleType name="mybool">
<xs:union>
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:boolean" />
</xs:simpleType>
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:string">
<xs:enumeration value="True" />
<xs:enumeration value="TRUE" />
<xs:whiteSpace fixed="true" value="collapse" />
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
</xs:union>
</xs:simpleType>
