I am trying to implement paging in a datalist control but it seems so complicated anyways, i am using a stored procedure instead of a data list and the value is inputted from a querystring, but i just can't seem to find any example that implemented it my way. Anyone with any great walk through?

Hi,
I am creating a webpage that retrieves data from remote database and stores it in a dataset based on a sql query. Later this dataset is bound to a datagrid in the same page. This is working fine, for a single user. Problem is when multiple user are using the webpage, the dataset gets updated with all rows that are retrieved by other users. Hence the datagrid show what I searched for and also what other users are searching for. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

You haven't provided any code. So I assume you have declared the DataSet as static. If yes, you need to change this.

I have declared the dataset as Private in the Main Class.

And what is the Main class? How do you persist the instance of the Main class from one request to the next? Does each user have their own instance of the class, or do you have a static reference to a single instance of that class?

The data set is local for the request, so there is nothing in your code that suggests that a search by one user would affect a search by another user. Therefore the problem has to be in the part of the code that you haven't shown.

Some properties, in controls, like Font, ForeColor etc. that automatically pick up their value from their parent control have a special name in .Net I thought they were called Foundation Properties but I cannot find any reference to that.
Would someone please help a chap whos few remaining brain cells are becoming weaker by the day.

Good People,
I have a quick question. The Infragistics graphing controls (for WPF) come in two flavors - signed assemblies and unsigned assemblies. What is the difference?
Also, I am working on an application that will be sold to the general public, should I use signed or unsigned graphing assemblies? Which one is better?

Hello,
I am trying to build an application where I can navigate through a series of images (either forward or backward). For example, if the "forward" button is pressed, the current displayed image is collapsed and the next image will be displayed. In my application, the image control names for these images are: Image1, Image2, Image3, etc.
I currently have over 150 images that I am trying to manipulate. I'd like to find a way to use a string or char array to refer to the image control name. So far I have no luck as I am not very familiar with C#. I copied below a snippet of what I am trying to do:
