Still didn't get how the designation system works now.In new reputaion system, I am able to see defferent designation labels for Authority .Is there some specific or concrete criteria to update the designation as it was earlier?

Don't know if this has been suggested anywhere else, sorry if it has, but i would like to see navigation buttons on the question page, e.g. Next question, Previous Question, Next Unanswered, Previous Unanswered.
This would allow the user to be on a question and just step through them, without having to go back to the index lists. The index lists allow give a subject, don'e really give enough insight into what the user is really asking.

UPDATE:
I have tried playing with various comments, and discrovered that a single double quote character is all you need. Include one or more in the body of your QA comment an the whole damn thing disappears.

The damn things keep disapearing! Twice now I have tried to add a comment to an answer[^] and it just vanishes hwne i press Submit Comment
The text has been similar both times:

Some clues:
Console.WriteLine outputs to the console so the user can read it.
Console.ReadLine inputs from the user to a string, so you can read it.
Double.Parse converts a string to a floating point number so you can do math on it.
+ adds numbers
* multiplies numbers
That is about all you really need.
You have the algorithm (see my earlier post), you have the methods you need, off you go.
When you reply, either modify your original question, or use the "Add Comment" button to resopond to a specific answer - the author is then sent an email (like this one) to let him know. DONT use the Answer button - further info is not a answer!

This has been reported earlier [^]couple of times. Slow internet connection was thought of as the probable reason. Yet nothing was confirmed, someone was looking into it last week.

Sod all to do with a slow connection: I have tried playing with this, and isolated it to a double quote character:
a"b"c
does not post.
a'b'c
Does post.
a"b'c
does not post.

Is it so! Nice catch... i just tried and found the same thing... if we have even one double quote in our comment it does not post! 
It happened with me too earlier but I just ignored it... thought might be some network issue as reported by others.

Griff, there must be something else.
I've just tried posting a comment twice, and it hasn't registered.
I didn't post exactly the same comment, but in neither case it contained a double quote.
It did contain a single quote, and in the second try I tried removing that too. But no dice...
It also contained a ; and a smiley 
But I don't know if that was the cause of the problem???

We updated the code about 30 mins ago. Looks like it's still not nipped in the bud.

The 'Graphics' forum is having problems - almost all of the messages have disappeared. There is less than one page of posts remaining, and many of those are responses; the original questions have vanished.

Try setting Date filter to "All" and hit update

so where is "gone south" applicable? which places on earth know what you mean by it, and which don't? It doesn't have any significance on the south pole; does it in South-America? in Australia? What, if any, would be the line south of which the expression isn't reflecting what you meant?

Reminds me of a problem description added to our database by one of our customer service reps which stated "Customer just phoned to say his server has crashed and burned.". Strangely, my reply of "Tell customer to call the fire service" was not appreciated.

If I had to guess, I'd say the expression probably dates from the time of the Civil War. Basically, it's used to denote something unreliable, with a tendency to fail (or betray) when needed. Of course, if my take on the historical semantics is correct, it probably originated in the North.

I understand that; we still have a bit of a North-South divide here (yes I'm North), that's why a "go South" expression never passes unnoticed...
BTW: it also made me find an AE idiom web site, of which I'll read one page a day. Today's find involved some beans.
