Not sure why it doesn't show up in the other place.
EDIT: I actually did a search after clearing my search filter (Which, for some odd reason, keeps getting filled after it is cleared. Probably a session issue)

Is there a release statement on the FB and G+ links at the top? I'm curious if it automatically posts all our CP comments to those two sites if we add them. A quick summary of what they do would be appreciated.

Agreed. Looking at the App description on facebook doesn't tell me anything about what this is going to do other than consume my personal information and make posts on my behalf. What *exactly* are you going to be posting to my account if I use this feature?

We are adjusting the UI on this becuase we agree that it's not as intuitive as we want. If you hover over the icons you'll see the tooltip that says "Link Facebook account", but that tooltip isn't enough.
When you're logged in those icons won't appear, and instead we'll have links on your Settings page that allows you to link your Facebook and Google+ accounts to your CodeProject account so you can login to CodeProject using Facebook and Google.
There's no automatic post to Facebook or Google+.

What is the purpose in doing this? A new member still needs to sign up here and then link his FB/G+ account, right? So what does he gain?

No. A new member can sign in using Facebook or Google+ and an account is setup for them, and linked to their FB/G+ account automatically. It's all seamless.
If, after logging in via FB/G+, we find a CP account with the same email address we let you to link them up. The purpose of having the links on the settings page is to allow existing members to link up FB/G+ accounts under a different email address.

It would be nice to be able to tell when a post was modified, but I understand the need to keep the original date of when it was created. How about adding a "xN" after the " [modified]" text to show that it has been modified again since one last saw it? Thus, "subject [modifiedx2]" would appear when the author modified it twice.

There is already a "-- modified 5 hrs ago." message at the bottom of modified posts.
I don't see the value of knowing how many times a post has been modified. The latest modified date is sufficient.

Yeah. PHP forum should have been there. But in the mean time, why don't you try MySql forum for PHP related questions. I am positive that you will receive answers. MySql Forum[^]

We had one but the traffic was minimal so we merged it all into the LAMP[^] forum

ok that makes sense. But i guess there is a typo under the forum heading - shouldn't it be Linux, Apache, Mysql, Php? or may be LAMP, perl, python forum would sound better and people will stop complaining.

Hi There. Is there any way (or is it planned) to merge two accounts on CodeProject?
I know this does not matter but I think using this technique, CodeProject server will be more than happy if some unused accounts are deleted after their information (or data) is taken to another account one wants to pursue.
Now I am posting this question using an account which I made nearly in my childhood  however I don't know how much this idea will be appreciated.
