I bought a cheap Chinese 16Gb uSD years ago, and it was fine, until I used more than 2Gb, when it scrambled it's FAT every time. Turns out it was a 2Gb that reported itself as a 16Gb...

The first memory card I ever bought sits right on the other desk in my old computer and still eorks after more than 35 years. 4k ought to be enough for everybody.
The last memory I bought a few days ago will be inserted into a small camera. If the weather is ok, I will throw the camera into a case, along with charged batteries, the remote control and at least one model heli. And then I hopefully get two hours of flying and maybe some first videos from the camera under the belly of the heli.

A very cheap little thing from China. It's most important features are to be cheap, small and very light, so that it will fit under the heli and probably even survive a crash.
Some people already got some results with the same camera and heli:

The main problem will be to hang it up exactly at the center of gravity, so that the small 130x gets of the ground and still flies well. The secondary problem then will be vibrations from the motor which can reduce the video quality.
I already had a small test flight with the small Nano CPx. The heli is only 20 cm long, half of that is the tail. The camera is about 5 cm long and the little heli looked like a pregnant grasshopper while flying around with it.

Sorry, I did not run away yesterday. My internet connection was dead. And I did not get to fly because of the weather. Maybe next weekend.
This is my second 'trainer': A Blade 130x[^]. It's a small heli wich makes it tough, agile and inexpensive to repair. And here[^] you can get an impression why it is not really a toy.

I don't see how anyone can use Eclipse? It's such a pain the butt, but I am forced to use it on a VirtualBox VM running Ubuntu so I can program the BBB and another for the class I'm taking for the Tiva C Launchpad board. But in both cases there was extensive help setting it up because I never would have figured it out on my own.

Ya that IDE is downright user-hostile and what really made me queasy in the actual INSTALL phase was the incessant downloading of all of the damn emulator libs... lol... I understand backwards-compatibility but FFS... Anyway Eclipse is as Eclipse does... Do you have a better suggestion for a Java IDE? I mean Eclipse has it cornered for Android yes?

For Java wouldn't NetBeans work? I don't do Java but at one time I wanted to learn and ordered the IDE and played with it for a few days then put it down for some reason and never looked at it again...can't remember why??

I've been using Atmel Studio and the Atmel line of chips for about 2 years and my site is full of that as for Arduino if you mean the board I make most of my own except for the ATMega1280 and ATMega2560 boards which I buy, if you mean the IDE I shy away from it like Eclipse. I've been trying to push using C++ on my site but people are really resistant to using it.
Not a compiler set up to do embedded C# for the AVR yet! 
I've ordered a SAM3X board which is ARM based and anxious to see what I can do with it. The Atmel Studio IDE can be used for either 8bit or the 32bit ARM chip so won't have a problem there.

Yes
With the devices with a small foot print I can understand but with devices that have 128K+ flash why wouldn't you use C++. You can always write the critical stuff in ASM or C for that matter but the bulk can be OOP'd.
Years ago I worked in a C shop and tried to get people to convert but they wouldn't because they had always written in C and didn't want to change.
If you like you language you can keep your language period!
