Hi Espen,
I was just "window-shopping" today, looking at reviews of large-screen note-books on EnGadget: [^].
I am definitely not to going to buy a laptop, but if somebody else paid for it !, I'd like something like this: [^].

I think that's going to be difficult requirement to meet, Espen. IIRC, Dell is one of the few vendors that still sell 1920x1200 laptops.

If you would consider going down to 15.6" you could have a look at Dell Precision M3800[^]. It has a resolution of 3200x1800.
Oddly enough, their 17" computers are limited to 1920x1080.

Yeah, it frustrates me when the most expensive component in my latest computer build is a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro OEM...

The Windows monopoly won't die in my lifetime because they can always give away the software and then charge for expansions, templates, bonus features...if it comes to that. They still own the business market and have an insane percentage of the home computing market...plus they're making a charage on mobile fronts which has caught my eye with the Surface 2 Pro. A price drop is always welcome though!

I just read the synopsis of the movie on Wikipedia. My word, if something could go wrong it really can go wrong, talk about a bad day at the office. Whether trusting Wikipedia or not is for others to decide but reading the plot puts me in the mood to place it alongside Prometheus as a good idea that got out of hand. When the DVD comes down to £4 or less (£3 more than Prometheus was worth) then I might get it on the policy watch once, throw away.
I might pay £2 if someone gives the heads-up that Ms/Mrs Bullock has a quickie while out of sight of the world below. I know some of you have seen it, the movie that is, not SB having a you-know-what but is the movie less laughable than what the plot suggests? I'd rather take my chance on the London Underground going from Victoria to Cockfosters.

I actually enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting much but other people I knew said they liked it so I saw it. If you don't want to spend much just rent the DVD.
Because it is space, it is much more enjoyable on a big screen at the movie theater than on your TV on DVD but likely still a good movie.
