Absolutely incredible test cricket series between South Africa and Australia. Loved every bit of it. I guess it was test cricket at its best. Incredible!
I still don't think we can decide the better team. It was just so close.

Well, I would have if we still had someone like Ganguly leading us. He was a real fighter and changed the moral altogether. Now, I feel, these youngsters think they are awesome just because they have performed in sub continent. They were thrashed in England, SA and NZ. Hell, they cannot even handle sub-continent any more. See what happened in Asia cup. They surely do not deserve the praise they get.
Similarly, players from SA, NZ and Aus must be able to perform on square turning tracks in order to prove their mettle worldwide.

I am an Indian and would support India any day..but then Ganguly was my all time favorite captain...He didnt win the world cup for us..but for the team to be in current position he was the only one responsible!!with out him we would still be not in this position at all....[No offence to Dhoni however]...
But yes the next team I like is South Africa and it pained to see them lose the test after a great fight...

Draw is valid result in test cricket. You are not just playing for win here. And SA recently tried to score 450+ and could not get there against Indian bowling attack. Why would they risk anything against a far better bowling attack?

Yes, but only if played in the correct spirit... Attempting to bat out an entire day without even trying to make the score required is a sad way to finish what otherwise would be a good match. This is vastly different to playing "normally" and running out of time to achieve a win (hence ending in a draw).
Just my opinion, of course.
