Nice, Thanks for the review Griff.
Ordered mine last Friday, bloody bank holiday, it should come today and I'm going to have a play around with it. Believing it or not I've not actually owned a tv with a HDMI port until last week just simply not bothered to upgrade from my old behemoth of a television. Now I have two! (One very new one and one very old one bought for £30... same price as chromecast!).
I'll give my review in a couple of days! 
Modification - I'll be using a Tesco HUDL and a HTC one to control it.

I know what you mean - I was surprised to find my TV had three HDMI ports - I hadn't used any of them!

My review so far....
"Chromecast arrived today.
Verdict so far? Awesome I feel like a Jedi."
I've used BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Netflix, DrawCast, LocalCast & AllCast. So far so good plays everything fast and of high quality absolutely brilliant. I would note though the Home HD movies (Don't let your imagination run wild) on my phone stuggled to play on chromecast, I've got a HTC one.
