Thanks but no. My mistake. I'm looking for something like Launchy or Executor. Type in a few characters, autocomplete matches the keys and then launches the app/doc/folder/etc.

Everything[^] should be usable for your purposes, but there isn't any CodeProject article on it I'm aware of. It is not strictly a launcher...
