Hi All,

I posted yesterday that I was doing an interview (I was on a train, bored!!). The overwhelming response was 'go for it' & 'Knock 'em Dead' and generally positive things, which was greatly appreciated. The job though I think will end my programming if I get it (perhaps a good thing?). I just wish there was a role like the one I have now which is a mix of hardware & software...

Mixed roles do exist, but they are hard to find: only small companies tend to support them as larger ones want more specialised staff. And that makes them hard to find as the smaller companies don't like the charges recruitment companies charge (And I can't say I blame them)

Hmm, All the jobs I have had are with small companies...I do like being able to do both, though sometimes doing both I feel I am not in one camp or the other. On the plus side, the guy said in a comment to another person in the interview, "well we seem to have got a lot of high quality candidates..." (I hope I was one of the high quality ones!). It's just in the middle of nowhere...

So, I was just going through QA (as always - just browsing through the questions without answering any) and came across this one[^]. Just look at the question and the answers.. I think I am gonna die laughing!! Laugh | :laugh:

But the thing I am wondering is while that was originally posted, edited and answered almost 5 years ago, why is it being shown as only 3rd one under "Top Rated" (with my current filter tags: C#, WPF, ASP.NET, AJAX)? - Nah, don't answer this one.. Wink | ;)
