Why not make the seats more comfortable to begin with and make them permanently reclined? And what's with that forward pushing headrest? It's not "restful" at all. It downright gives one a head and neck ache!

Well they tried in vain to get fat people to buy two seats, that did not get a lot of momentum, and just resulted in a few lawsuits. I don't think they'll make seats any better, specially since they can get people to pay extra for more leg room, which is still narrower than normal seats used to be 10-12 years ago. That said, I thought it was common courtesy to not recline your seat unless it's a child sitting behind you.

It's hard to fathom that they didn't get away with this considering what they do get away with. It seems simple. You should pay for two seats if you're large and take up two seats.

Yes. Unfortunately it isn't PC to ask a fat person to pay extra due to the amount of extra food they chose to eat.
It is perfectly fine however to charge a tall person extra because they were born with a genetic predisposition to have long leg bones.
At 180cm (6'4") my femurs don't fit between most airline seats even when the seats are upright.

The parts to this issue mystify me:
1) In general, airline seats recline. I should be able to recline if I choose too.
2) When you buy a ticket on a plane, you know seats recline. Be prepared to deal with it.
3) How on earth did a passenger get on board with an anti-recliner device? There was the no
brainer.
4) The woman turning around and tossing the drink - me thinks, Mr. Anti-Recliner said something
rude.
Toss in the stupid TSA searches, parking, wait lines, uncivil service from airline staff, and I just don't fly if the trip is less than 5 hours. It's not worth the hassle.
As far as fat people - that's just too f'ing bad. If you take up two seats, you buy two seats. I occasionally flew with small children. If they could sit on my lap, I saved the ticket (wasn't pleasant), but if they were too large - I had to pay for a another ticket. I think this is shaming me to use..... oh never mind

It's a Squier, which is a cheapy Fender brand owned by Fender. A bit like Gibson/Epiphone. They aren't bad guitars. I think they're all made in China now and there are lot of reasonably-priced, well-made instruments coming from there now.

If you look closely, it isn't a Squier guitar, the headstock shape is wrong and the logo type is wrong. I currently own 2 Squier guitars, a Statndard Tele model and the 60's vibe Strat which are both a cut way above the Squier Affinity series (Which are hit or miss in quality and playabilty) The original Squier Bullet's (With the Tele headstock) are some real nice guitars that are hard to come by these days and I regret selling mine to buy a MIJ Strat.
I, like Pete, adore guitars bordering on religious and have way more guitars than what my wife thinks I should have.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I have a Squier Strat, pretty old, with a tiger maple neck. Your resolution must be better than mine, it sure looked like a modern (Chinese) Squier to me and part of the details talks about Fender and Squier trademarks (I'm afraid I checked as I couldn't understand the price tag!)

I'm gigging a fundraiser on Saturday with my wife on cello!
I mainly play accoustic (mainly 12 string). I have a Taylor sapele Grand Auditorium 12 string and a L'Arivee mahogany/spruce L-03 6 string. The Squier was a birthday gift from a very good friend this year. I bought a Spider IV 30, but haven't played it much yet. The bridge needs resetting (tuning's a bit off) and I just haven't had the time. My grandkids love it when I blast out on the Crash setting!
