It is an article, the author posted it "personally" as such so I would say yes.
But if it would have been a blog automatically feeded... I am not so sure.

I actually am not so sure about the huge number of feeded blogs and how to evaluate them. I am often tempted to report many because they don't really say big things, but as the blogs are "allowed" to hold opinions, descriptions and other not so technical things... I never know. Many times the auto feed brings a lot of links susceptible to be spam, but... it is a blog and have seen people that I respect saying "it is logic that it has links, it is a feed-blog".
I didn't find any "official" description of what a Blog should have to be "CP-suitable".
@Sean or @Chris-Maunder , would it be possible to add a description / definition for what is expected to be a nice blog in the FAQ??
What do the rest of you think about? (If you think it is better I can start another thread here or in bugs & sugs for the debate, deleting the off-topic part of this message)

I think it's a good idea.
Better guidelines as to what a Blog is and can contain would only help. Should a blog like the one at the top of this thread be allowed, given it's a bunch of blurb with a link in and little else? Not as an artcile, but I'm pretty sure that even as a blog I'd go "Spam!" and hit the report button.
Some rules as to "what is spam" would mean we could direct innocent offenders to them. OK, we all pretty much know, but if they were laid down by The Management then it's there in black and white; there isn't wriggle room.

The member's username is the same as the link in the question title. Their home-page is the same as the link in the question title. Their only interaction with the site is a non-question with a link to their site in the title.
I don't think there's any chance that this was a valid question.
