Yep, seems to be resolved now. Also for me now it takes a few second, this compared before about 8 hours, then it really took over 60 Sec.

There are some threads whose message count (on the right, in Thread View) shows that there are 2 messages when in fact there is only the original post. Could it be because someone replied and then deleted the reply? I have observed this on several occasions recently. One example is this post[^].
I believe the count becomes zero when the original post is deleted, but I suppose that is the intended behavior.

I am unable to find a category for Ubuntu-based articles, there are many for Windows, Win32, Metro etc. But, no Linux or Linux distributions are provided there.
Where should I tag my article? Under C++, QT, Cross-platform, or would you provide us with a Linux and Linux-based-systems category.

Hi,
I found a bug in a version of the code posted with an article, and posted a comment about it. The author and I communicated and they have updated their article with the bug fixed.
Now my comment will cause confusion as it applies to code no longer available and I would like to delete it, but the delete option is greyed out (it may be because the author replied to my comment).
How do I find out why the comment cannot be deleted? (And possibly force it anyway?)

I don't think there's any need to delete that comment.
If you feel like it might cause confusion:
You should be able to edit your comment
Some suggestions:
- Edit the subject to something like "Fixed: " + the original title
- Edit the message to include a comment like "this bug has been fixed in Version xy"
I feel such comments are quite valuable to see that the author is actually maintaining his code instead of just exposing it to the wild and leaving it to its own. Also you see problems that have been encountered and how they were fixed. This might even give an incentive to look at these changes a bit more.

I recently posted this[^] message in the Lounge. Only a few minutes after that and I am being presented with advertisements related to piano/keyboards from Amazon. I rarely see any advertisements which are not related to any software products here on CP. And this is particularly astonishing because previously, I hadn't seen any ad on CP for a piano/keyboard, or any musical instrument, for that matter. 
The part I am wondering is, how did that happen? Apart from the posted form (that too, at most once), I don't think the word "piano" appeared anywhere else, so that the Google ad generator(?) would pick it up. Is this something done by CodeProject? Does CP provide regular "feeds" based on member messages?

We use Google's AdX system as a remnant provider if we have no ads suitable for showing, and given that AdX runs almost everyone on the 'net there's a good chance it has picked up your interest in pianos from another site.
There's a chance that Google indexed that forum page, saw "piano" in it, and added that to its signals on what ad to show, but I couldn't tell you.
We don't provide Google feeds of data - it slurps it all up like a ravenous beast itself.

If we can have CPTV back and community can convert still relevant articles, to videos over time, do you think it will be good?
I personally will be so happy. I have been trying to learn ASP.Net web API and have found a lot of article and lots of good video tutorials. It got me wondering if all of CP article wealth could be made into nice little videos.
If not CPTV, how about a YouTube channel?

On your settings page (Profile - My Settings) is a checkbox named "Remember me so I don't have to log on again". If that is checked, you are logged in automatically.
