Not sure how it's pronounced - could be Jink or maybe Jin-Queue (the website's title writes it as JinQ).
Jinq provides developers an easy and natural way to write database queries in Java and Scala. You can treat database data like normal Java objects stored in collections. You can iterate over them and filter them using normal Java commands, and all your code will be automatically translated into optimized database queries. Finally, LINQ-style queries are available for Java!
Not really a java guy personally but thought someone might find this interesting.

It's more the Java version of EF really since it's DB only. Maybe they should have called it Jeff!

Jinq was initially developed by Dr. Ming-Yee Iu as part of his PhD research while at EPFL.
Funny they don't reference their actual thesis paper. 
I just wouldn't trust my product to something like this. Maybe it's just me.
