Why do we have to have so many rules

I don't think there are many Rules but at some point you have to restrict people to not do everything they want

The argument is not about no rules/some rules. It's about too many rules. There are enough rules already there doesn't have to be another one about linking to outside websites.

I agree, i think the rules we have are sufficient. But since outside links are not that good for some of us (Ads on work and stuff) i guess one can critisise that, without getting a bloody nose?

Again! This was not said yesterday when the puzzle completely departed from the rules or the many other occasions on which far more questionable puzzles have been set. If you don't want to soil your hands with my unclean puzzle then it's no skin off my nose. I'll make sure never to be so gauche as to provide a correct answer again and you can all enjoy your snobby little coterie in peace.

Well I did not see the FSOW yesterday. But with external link, many working in Office cannot see. It gets blocked.

I don't see any mention of external links in the rules[^].
In fact, they encourage you to use anything, except binary.

Well you are right, but since the examples and the "characterlimit" referr to letters or symbols i guess pictures are kind of out the game, it's a gray zone though.
2ndly i'd say external links are always a little problem

It's not pictures. Yesterday's was pictures. It's simply an image of the characters as they appeared in my word processor but would not show here because I included a couple of characters from a dingbat font.

I'm not sure the Lounge would survive without external links. They're in just about every original post! It seems odd to object to them for this puzzle when no such objection is raised for everything else. The problem would go away entirely if we were allowed to post images (as in just about every other forum in the Universe) but the hamsters are dead set against it.

TR is a correct combination correctly repeated but both time in the wrong place, if that helps. Third hint now going in.

As you have no letters in correct positions I didn't think that would be as much help at this late stage but if you insist, you have 10 correct letters. 0B, 10W (unless it's the other way round - never can remember)

Information is always helpful.
If you get enough guesses, you can "walk your shots" to the right answer, even if you get no letters in the correct place initially.
