There has been a lot of this going on today. Even Griff once called me Shirley.
Here[^] is someone who does not like this at all, plus some support from Leslie himself.

It's your own fault! Shirley is a h**l of a lot easier to remember than CDP1802!

We ultimately have two choices:
1) Do something*
2) Do nothing
*1 - posting to {insert favourite blog/social media site} isn't actually "doing something"
Now is it bad enough that you let somebody else kick your butts without you trying to do it to each other? Now if we're all talking about the same man, and I think we are... it appears he's got a rather growing collection of our bikes.

Doing nothing pretty much guarantees more suffering to come.

Hell yeah! This made my day!
Such an awesome album! \m/ \m/
Back on the subject, gathering likes may look like it does nothing (and maybe it really doesn't), but I've always seen it as some kind of advertising. Maybe people will come across a post and actually take action. In that case "just" sharing did make a difference

Yeah, I see your 'sarcasm' comment, but..
..the answer to your question is this: I'm British, born and raised here and generally conform to (what we see as) western civilised culture. As a nation, we welcome anyone who shares that love of freedom, free speech, democracy, respect for others. Unfortunately, our government(s) has (over the last few decades) turned a blind eye to those who come here who actually hated our way of life, resented our culture and wanted to live in separate parallel societies.
We're seeing the results on a regular basis.
Don't forget to 'like' though.. it'll make all the difference (just as it did for London, Paris, Nice, Cologne, etc, etc..)

Someone from Texas would probably tell us that this is the time to get a selection of guns from your personal arsenal and get going. The impulse to do something like that is understandable, especially if you actually have the means. The only problem is that self appointed defenders more likely than not can't do anything useful at all and may even make things worse.

There's no dancing around the fact that we have separate communities living within our countries. We can wring our hands, ask why oh why, find a million and one excuses but until we (as a society) get a grip on what really needs doing, expect more attacks and do what you can to prepare your families.
Once upon a time, we had a safe, peaceful nation. That wasn't good enough for some do-gooders though. And here we are..

Same old left-wing argument.. any excuse to dodge the issue at hand.
I guess a few more needless deaths are required to convince you, eh? Or perhaps you'll never be convinced, no matter what happens?

Let's take something different, like software piracy. All protection measures against it do more to annoy the honest customers and can easily be evaded by the real pirates. So what's the point?
So what do you want to do? Put cops at every corner and give them warrants to arrest everyone who does not look nice? Nobody would be any safer, but life would be a little more miserable for everyone. You know what? That's exactly the way the terrorists want to have it. They want you in fear and they want you to live under as miserable conditions as possible.

Even more a reason to do something effective. If that were so easy, don't you think that every single one of the policemen would not do it already? What do you expect from them? That they arrest the usual suspects?
