Interestingly enough Wired appears to've just done some sort of backend refactor and removed their blocker blocker. Instead of the scorched earth shell I normally see for a few seconds before it goes into nag mode it loaded normally (read all the first party crap I nuked from their dumpsterfire of a page layout was unblocked); and it didn't kick me out when I went all Bomber Harris on it again.
