I am a bit of a security freak when it comes to things like this. Despite my bank and credit card providers telling me about all their wonderful mobile apps, I will never install one, not so much for the number theft, but in view of the possibility of loss or theft of the 'phone. The worst I could suffer is someone buying a bunch of apps from Google Play.
All my financial transactions are done from a specific machine and specific browser in my office. My password wallet is on a different machine, so I just have to remember my logins while I walk across my office. The 'money machine' is an old laptop that is only ever used for this one purpose.
Paranoid? Yes. Neurotic, Possibly.
...but the only person who helps themselves to my money is my wife, and I really don't have a solution to that.

The best way to avoid being attacked by a shark is not to pretend to be a seal at the coasts of Australia, South Africa or California.
When all kinds of thieves concentrate on the masses using smartphones, it obviously is much safer not to use smartphones. When most malware targets Windows, it's obviously better to stay out of harm's way and not use Windows.
Blasphemy, I know, but it's always safer to stay out of the mainstream, where most dangers lurk.

There are a few useful functions available on a smart phone - for me maps, and more importantly, nautical charts. I also have a few useful apps I have written myself, so I guess I'll just have to live dangerously.
Note: My paranoia is such that when I bought an Android tablet, I got one that had no sim card slot. In the unlikely event that I want to download something where there is no Wi-Fi, I can use the hot-spot function of - yes, you guessed it - my smartphone. A further indication of my paranoia is that I bought a dual sim smartphone, with one card for just voice and SMS, and the other just for data - which is turned off except when it is (very rarely) needed. The Wi-Fi is usually off too.

At the airport in Amsterdam there's this sign on each door, telling you that you're not just being tracked over WiFi, but also using Bluetooth.

Well, I keep Wi-Fi off unless I actually need it, and the only time I ever use Bluetooth is for 'hands-free' when I am driving and expecting an important 'phone call. An answer-phone app informs the caller that I am driving, and cannot take their call, and then asks their name , which I can hear over the hands-free speaker, and decide if it is the call I am expecting, and pull over to take it, if so.
How am I doing on the paranoia stakes so far?

I have in the past used my smartphone hotspot and tablet to RDP into a client's server - from the car.

Wife's 2G prepaid had to go, 2G networks were shutting down.
I have a multi-device account with a different telco/ISP. So buy a cheap new handset, transfer the number to my a/c. Easy?

Call centre op (old telco): You have to go into a shopfront with both IDs. Yeah, fair enough.
Next time we're both within cooee of a shopfront, rock up. NO, you have to do it online. Oh, and you need the PUK. Really? the phone was over 15 years old, no way is that scrap of paper still on the planet.
Long story short (not mentioning extra BP meds) $2 prepaid SIM. new number. Only immediate family know her number anyway, plus one other. It's my firefighter NOK number.
And a telco moved several slots up my sh!t list.

Hi all,
Just finished watching it.
Loved it.
9 over 10.
As it seems this was not enough explanatory (see @Vunic post)...
I can say the Hand, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) and Madame Gao are wonderful, Daredevil and Jessica Jones look amazing and two more characters (one male and one female) are very very nice too.
Shorter than the usual series having now only 8 chapters it has improved the rythm.
Slow at the beginning, but perfect at the middle till the end.
Some easter eggs as always in Marvel flicks.
Nice how the characters are depicted.
I liked the end (important hearing the last name it's heard to foresee what will happen next).
If you've watched the previous series (daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist) you'll enjoy this one.
Oh, and now that I remember, wait after the last episode...
