Yes, but with the exception of Intel's compiler, almost no-one uses any of the other C++ compilers listed. GCC and CLang are by far the widest used.

I dislike Java but understand why it's in the top 10 and even #1 to some extent. The real shocker to me was that Perl was on that list considering how much vitriol is directed at it

I'll tell you why Python can't displace...
It's BS like this and this when migrating code from 2.x to 3.x.
My god, people, can't you design at least the core constructs of a language correctly? Operative word is "design", which clearly is a dead art/skill.
So now, I have to waste time fixing the things that are now broken because I'm using Python 3.x with some OSS code that was written for Python 2.x.
