I just noticed recently that when a box of Kleenex is near empty, the color of tissue changes to peach to remind users that it is time to buy a new box. What a smart idea. Do you know any other examples like this?

Yeah, I've always felt hankies are mainly for show. If you actually use them a few times, it's just a bacterial container.

And then you give it to your spouse to wash in the laundry. Yuck!

I do the laundry! And most of the cooking. She handles the important decisions: declaring war on other countries, repelling alien invasions, that sort of thing. We can't clutter her up with trivial implementation details!
