I'm cooking a turkey, so it involves waiting around.
In the interim I got Parsley to do a really complicated parse using techniques i created called abstract symbols and virtual symbols.
It can now discern between an expression and a cast, smoothly.
Slang takes a long time to cook the thing, though. At least not as long as the turkey.
I also got a headline article today though i would have preferred a different day. Still, yay. 
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

I did mine in the sous vide - 3 hours @65C and it's ready to carve. Since nobody really wants the legs, I just do a breast or a couple of breasts with sage, butter, and lemon. It comes out moist and as tasty as turkey ever gets every time.
And if it's in for an extra hour because - whatever - it's no problem.

i use thyme, butter and lemon zest to baste it with it periodically. although before i put it in i get it under the skin next to the breast meat as well. Then I just oven roast it, but i stuff it with a spanish onion, quarterd, a clove of garlic, halved lengthwise, a halved lemon (the one i zested) and a bunch, as in 1 bunch of thyme.
It comes out perfect every time, esp with my new convection oven. (well, a year old now)

Since my wife is German my mother in law makes a goose for us.
First it gets stuffed with weeds I cannot even pronounce. Then it gets in the oven on a very low temp for half a day.
After that it goes into the cold over the night.
The next day the fat is removed and the goose is roasted at high temperature to get a crispy skin.
It's quite a project, but they wouldn't have it another way.

Not just the 3D Printer (yay!) but also ... a headphone refurbish kit.
Replacement foam head band, over-ear foam pads and inner foam, new plug-in Sennheiser cables.
5 minutes and boom! Like new again.
I bought these (Sennheiser HD580 Precision) back in the early 90's, and they weren't cheap then. So I was thinking of replacing them, but ... it's difficult, they were damn good headphones, and the modern equivalent is the 660S at around £400 a set. I find it kinda difficult to justify spending that much on headphones fer gawds sake! But the head band foam was less than 1mm thick, the ear foam covering had frayed badly, the inner foam was missing - presumed blown to pieces by too much loud music. And there was an intermittent break in the right hand side cable so I had to sit with my head tilted to hear properly.
Then I saw you could still get replacement bits ... all in, less than £30.
And they are gorgeous again! Lovely sound, comfortable, perfect!
Repair, reuse, recycle ... you know it's worth it.

Harrumph - lucky you is all I can say.
Back in the late eighties I was working in Bahrein, and had to make a trip over the causeway to Al Khobar, where I happened upon a HiFi shop that sold me a set of Stax electrostatic 'Ear speakers' - much too posh to be just headphones. They cost around five hundred bucks, which I thought pretty good back then.
Move on thirty plus years, and I decided that as the power supply was dodgy, and the volume control a bit hit and miss, I would replace them. Off to Amazon I go, and then went into serious cardiac arrhythmia. Three and half thousand ![Elephant | [mastadon]](https://codeproject.freetls.fastly.net/script/Forums/Images/elephant.gif) ing quid!
Needless to say, the soldering iron was wheeled out and a massive amount of TLC applied. The volume control is now external, as the original was part of the circuit board, and the power supply replaced and directly soldered to the board as the socket had cracked away from it.
MrsLadyWife is not overly enamoured with the four piece combo (headphones, power supply, amplifier and volume control) and a four metre cable littering 'her' drawing room, but the complaints lessen considerably when I mutter about spending £3.5k on a replacement.
The problem really stems from her liking to watch television of an evening, whereas I much prefer to read and listen to the great groups of yesteryear, like Mo's Art, Jo's off hidin' and Beat Oven.
