I like games like GTA: San Andreas and Yakuza 6 and Red Dead Redemption 1 because they incorporate some RPG elements into what amounts to a button-mashing action game. I enjoy the combination. The Dynasty Warriors franchise had some bright moments too.
My question is basically this: Do any of you know of any games like this for the PS4 that are any good
And, if you've played the Yakuza franchise, is it worth it to get Yakuza-0 or perhaps some of the games prior to 6? I enjoyed Yakuza 6 but it's a short game, ignoring the cutscenes. I bought it then proceeded to beat it several times in a row, so it has good replay value but I'm bored of it already.

I don't have a PS4, but one series I've loved since the beginning (PS2/PSP) is Monster Hunter. The current release, Monster Hunter World, is beautiful, has some rpg elements, 14 different weapon types with respective styles, and shines when you play with others (online co-op.) It's available on current gen systems and PC. You can pretty much play the entire game solo if you choose, but imo it's a far better experience with companions.

I have played Destiny 2 for a while and was nice. But I am PC-Player, I do know that it is available for some consoles, but don't know if it is available for PS4 specifically.

How can it be "RPG'ish"? Either it runs on an AS400, or it doesn't... 
(Seriously - when I saw a post from you referring to RPG, it took a few moments to work out you weren't referring to the programming language...)

I just Googled "what does RPG stand for"... out of the 48 answers thefreedictionary.com give, they suggest
RPG Rapid Programme Generation (AS/400) [sigh] 
I did a tiny bit of RPG* in the early 80s. Didn't like it.

How about Assassin Creed Odyssey?
This game is so damn big that it can keep you busy for a few years! 
It's also gorgeous looking!
I think it's available on PS4 too... I am not too sure, I play on PC
Cream on top, you can argue with Sokrates! Even once you can manage to outwit him! 
Also, with Luck, you can help Plato toward the way of the philosophy!

how about fallout 76;
I know it got a lot of bad reviews when it got out, but now with the latest Wastelanders update it's really fun.
Even if it is a multi user game, you can play solo most of the time (i.e. no interaction with other players).
I'd rather be phishing!

My favourite RPG was Shining Force on my old Sega Megadrive (aka Genesis), so... I don't have many answers for you 
I will recommend my two favourite PS4 games, though - Journey and Unravel - because I thought they were wonderful (if a bit short).

A lot of programmers say they are into Monty Python books and films. I really can't figure why. I once tried watching a Monty Python sketch, it was unbearable!. Someone enlighten me, what's the big deal with Monty Python?

Depends on the sketch - time hasn't been kind to all Monty Python humour, it never is. La Petomane was one of the finest artsy-fartsy stage performers of his time, but a hundred years later and he'd be booed off Youtube!
Humour is to a large extent cultural, topical to the mores of a community, and Monty Python spent a lot of time (and very, very little money) stretching the boundaries of the society they lampooned so well.
Some has survived: Galaxy Song[^] for example.
Others ... sadly only the older among us remember the cultural limitations which made it so brilliant then.
And of course, some of it was total cr@p even then ...

You're not alone. Some of the Monty Python stuff didn't resonate with me, either. I really enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to the point I bought a copy several years ago.
