But who is really surprised...
Recent beta testing of Microsoft's consumer version of its Windows operating system is reported to be so buggy that there are concerns it won't make it on the shelves by its scheduled third quarter delivery date.
Windows Millenium Edition (or WindowsMe) is the upgrade to Windows 98 Special Edition, but with the plethora of bugs, and Microsoft's lack of response to beta testers' bug reports, things do not seem good. Even so, Microsoft is pushing ahead with release plans.
