AxSpreadSheet on Windows 7?

Can we use axspreadsheet on windows7??

A colleague of mine told me he came across a wiki article saying its not supported for win7.

I cant seem to get it working on windows 7. I cant even "drag-n-drop" it on a form at first. It says "Attempted to write to memory fail" or something. Then i reinstalled, updated owc11.exe, and now i can "drag-n-drop" it.

But problem still arises when i try to show the form with an axspreadsheet on it. Say when a button on form1 calls form2.show(form2 has axspreadsheet), it works fine. But when a button inside a usercontrol on form1 calls form2.show, it crashes and gives me the same error "Attempted to write to memory fail..." . And then the whole thing crashes, i cant drag-n-drop the sheet anymore, and i have to reinstall again.

Has anyone got the spreadsheet control working on windows7?? If its not really possible, do you know any other spreadsheet component thats like AxSpreadsheet? Or if Im going to make one myself, can you give me tips on how to make a spreadsheet usercontrol for winForms??
