Hello Everyone,

I want to use Dot Net Nuke as CMS for my website. I downloaded the community version and realized that all the code is in VB .Net but i dont know VB .Net, is there any install for DNN for C#???

I also installed DotNetNuke_Community_05.06.02_StarterKit.vsi but when i go to VS 2010 File->New->Website i can find a option to create Dot Net Nuke Web Application for VB as the language but when i select C# i dont find the option.
I want to create a web site in Dot Net Nuke as C# as my language. Can anyone help me please??? The only reason i want C# as the language is i dont know VB .Net.

One more thing when i goto File->New->Project i can see a option to create a DNN Compiled Module for both C# and VB but again there is no option to create a website.

Please Help me in this.

Thanks in Advance.

This is because DNN was created in Visual Basic codebase. So the short answer will be, you can't. However, DotNetNuke Corp. announced[^] that they will be converting their codebase from VB.Net to C#. It seems the project is not yet available although they mentioned that they will be releasing it Q2 of 2011.

Update: The code is already available here[^]

Sorry walterhevedeich,
Just downloaded the new version DotNetNuke_Community_06.00.00_Install and saw that the code is in C#.
Thanks a million. :-)
