ajax controltoolkit 4.0 gets disappeared during addition to project.

Hi ,

My issue is that when i tried to take the new version of ajaxcontrol toolkit in my website project(VS 2010),it gets disapeared. This is what happens in the chronological order...Please help me in rectifying the issue..

1) A tahe a 'ADD Tab ' and name it.
2) I take 'choose items' and look for the ajaxcontroltoolkit.dll file.
3) I select the file and click on ok button and wait for it to populate the tab. But unfortunately, the tab which i took in step-1 gets disapeared....What should i do..

Quich help will be appreciated.

did you try to drag and drop the dll in the new tab?

Solution 1

Right click Toolbox and select Show All.
Now you can find your newly added Tab propably with disabled items.
Be sure that you use .NET 4 in your project.
Close and Open your project after .NET version change.
Items in your custom Tab should be enabled now.
