Which version of SQL Server is compatible for Windows 7 Home Premiun 64-bit

Hi,

I was trying to install SQL Server Management Studio, both 2005 and 2008 on my PC, but it was failed to install. I have successfully installed visual studio 2008 32 bit on my windows 7 64 bit PC.

So What version of SQL Server Management Studio is suitable for my Windows 7 Home Premium SP-1, 64 bit version. Also provide the link to download.

My System Configuration:----

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP-1, 64-bit
RAM: 3GB
Hard Disk: 320 GB
Processor: Intel Core i3

Older versions of SSMS may have compatibility issues, but if I recall correctly this version should work on Win 7 home premium: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=7593[^]. I take it you're using express.

Solution 2

Your machine is only good for development, with Home Premium. Why do you need to install another version ? Having said that, I'd expect them all to work. CErtianly I'd expect an Express edition to work.
