Hi,
I was not able to attach an MDF file to SQLEXPRESS.
It always gets an error: Operating system error 5: "5(Access is denied)". Somebody can do me a favor for this bug. Thank You so much. Anyway i'll be using it for crystal report.

Thanks

Hi,

I think you are using user account in your system. And some servers can not support backup process while they are not installed perfectly.

you can generate scripts for required database then use that whereever you want.
In this case you are unable to maintain values in table but you can maintain table definition with keys also.B'coz you said you are using sql2005 .if it sql2008 we can maintain data also.

process for generating scripts for data base in

rightclick on database thn select task and then select Generate Scripts.

Thats all you can see sript file for creating tables in that database.

Try it

All the best

This might help (and if it doesn't, just google the error message you posted here, and you'll get over 800,000 results you can wade through on your own.
