You need to explain how do you "refer". Is the DLL a valid .NET Assembly?

i have copied dll file in my project and i hae added it thru add reference in that i have selected .dll file and its valid .dll only its VisualCSharp.dll which i have downloaded from MSDN site only

In what .NET version your referred dll is build?

Solution 2

! exclamatory symbol in solution explorer for DLL suggest, many reason
- you have moved Dll from refered location
- Change original dll content and build, but refernce is old
- Any dependent dll is not included
- Version is not supported

have you did same process check this[^]
