Hi,

I have been trying to peek messages, and get the label from queues in a remote computer that I have sest up as a Virtual Machine. I have been having a huge trouble
getting the access to work, and I have been researching all week and I haven't found in a concrete way how to set up he access.

I can perfectly send messages to the queue.

The queue I am trying to reach is private. But if anyone knows how to set the access for a public queue I would definitely apreciate it.

What I have done so far:

1) I allowed full access to Everyone and Anonymous Log in to the queue
2) I have turned off the firewall on the virtual machine.
3) I have logged into the virtual machine from the host, using the file explorer\network path, trying to kind of register the host to the virtual machine.

Thanks in Advance.

You don't explain what the "trouble" is exactly.

If the problem is with naming the queue path then I suggest the following links and read them very carefully. Then determine the best paths for your enterprise use. Note that some paths REQUIRE Active Directory at all times.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms706037(VS.85).aspx[^]

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms700996(VS.85).aspx[^]

Also google for "MSMQ ports" and insure that all ports are available.
