Program started at logon does not complete

Hi,

As part of installation I have some steps to execute.
I set the Runonce key in the registry at every step so that if the system restarts at any step, next step is set in the RunOnce and is executed after reboot.
After adding few logs, I have seen that the application that when the system reboots, teh next step does start but does not complete.
I am not sure what is going wrong there?

Is there any way to find out what kills it?

Any help would be appreciated.
